KEYS TO PROVIDING CHILDREN WITH BEAUTIFUL SMILES USING ZIRCONIA CROWNS

In today’s appearance-focused society, children face pressure to look a certain way—making aesthetic dental restorations more important than ever. Parents increasingly view their children’s dental work as a reflection of their parenting and seek solutions that preserve both their child’s smile and confidence.

Composite resins may be sufficient in select cases, but for large lesions, presence of erosion, wear, subgingival margins, or high caries risk, zirconia crowns provide superior durability and aesthetics. This course will address common misconceptions—such as the necessity of pulpotomies or general anesthesia for zirconia crown placement—and offer systematic, efficient preparation techniques to help clinicians provide predictable, high-quality care. Participants will leave empowered to deliver restorations that are as compassionate as they are invisible.
