BURAK BULDUR
Prof. Dr. Burak Buldur completed his undergraduate and doctoral education at Sivas Cumhuriyet University, where he has been teaching pediatric dentistry since 2013. As the youngest Professor of pediatric dentistry in Turkey, he currently serves as a full-time Professor at the same university. He has held various roles, including Editor-in-Chief, Guest Editor, and editorial board member of numerous international journals. He is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the international journal “Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry” and the President of the annual “International Congress of Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry (ICCPD)”, which attracts participants from over eighty countries.
Prof. Dr. Buldur was ranked 2th in the World in Pediatric Dentistry based on ScholarGPS Highly Ranked Scholars list in 2023. In 2021, Prof. Dr. Buldur was also recognized as one of the “World’s Most Influential Scientists” by Stanford University, ranking in the top 2% among 7 million researchers globally for his academic and scientific contributions. He has numerous international scientific publications, is an editor and author of textbook chapters, and actively reviews for over thirty SCI-indexed journals. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry (IAPD) and the European Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (EAPD). His research interests focus on dental anxiety in children, behavior management, pediatric endodontics, regenerative endodontics, and qualitative research in dentistry.

Dear Colleagues and Friends,
International Congress of Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry (ICCPD, http://www.iccpd.org) is an annual event organized by the Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry which is an international, scientific, open access, online-only journal. Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry (www.contemppediatrdent.org) aims to serve as a journal for scientifically based information in pediatric dentistry, with the intention of continually expanding the knowledge base in this area. This journal provides an open-access forum for the exchange of information about contemporary, new, and significant research in pediatric dentistry throughout the world.
We are now celebrating the success of the Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry for beginning to be indexed in reputed field indexes in dentistry and medicine. To celebrate our remarkable scientific improvement, we are now organizing 5th International Congress of Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry (ICCPD 2025) which will take place on 7- 9 November 2025 as a fully virtual meeting. The main theme of the ICCPD 2025 is “Horizons in Pediatric Dentistry”.
I feel confident that the ICCPD 2025 will serve as a place of learning where we can all share the latest knowledge and learn the contemporary view, techniques and treatment options from highly eminent clinicians and researchers.
It is my pleasure to invite all colleagues and friends to attend the 5th ICCPD congress for sharing experiences and knowledge to uncover new insights on the contemporary pediatric dental practice, education, research and to reinforce our commitment to our little lovely patients and their caregivers.
