GOKHAN DOKUMACIGIL
Gokhan Dokumacigil was born in Gaziantep, Turkey in 1989. He finished dental school at Sivas Cumhuriyet University in 2014 and got his speciality degree in 2019 from Marmara University, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Restorative Dentistry. He is working as a clinician in Istanbul. He is also a Computer Graphic Artist, focused on dental animations. He has National and International publications on Minimally Invasive Treatments, Adhesion, Direct Composite Restorations in Dentistry and Dental Photography. He is giving lectures about Direct composite restorations, Rubber-dam isolation and Dental photography.
ABSTRACT
Photography in dentistry is no longer a choice, it has become a necessity. In treatments performed in almost every field of dentistry; recording and archiving has been essential for treatment planning, communication with dental technician and patient, presentation for lectures and legal reasons. Even some special equipments were produced for dentistry. Especially in anterior restorations, procedures that are important for visual aesthetics such as primary / secondary anatomy and color selection must be performed correctly. The easiest way to see the macro and micro surface features of teeth and restorations in detail is dental photography, which is shot using the right light. In this presentation, the equipment used in dental photography, equipment settings and photography techniques will be discussed.
